How do I schedule a senior portrait session? 

You need to schedule your senior portrait with your Lauren Studios account. If you have not already gotten an email from Lauren Studios with instructions, you can email them here: info@laurenstudios.com 

Can I submit my own photo to be in the yearbook? 

Unfortunately not. As a rule, we do not accept portraits taken by other photographers to be in the yearbook. In cases where a student is abroad or unable to be on campus we consider exceptions. Email us ensian.um@umich.edu if you have extenuating circumstances that stop you from getting a portrait taken on campus.

When is the deadline for portraits to be taken? 

Each year it varies slightly, but the final deadline for yearbook portraits is always in early January, typically 1/2 weeks into the winter semester. Portrait sessions are offered all of fall semester with appointments daily. It is important to get your photo taken in advance.

How does portrait pricing work? 

Cost of the portrait session – $30

You can Purchase a yearbook for $80 with your portrait session, this is the lowest cost way to get a yearbook.

All photo prints are sold separately, and you must order them from the Lauren Studios website after getting your portrait taken. We do not decide the pricing of individual prints.
